come on the "adv" never is true - especaly for MWO.
When they brought the Champion Stalker - it looked great with the flame pattern - after some complaints they did add the hint that the camo is not part of the deal.
but with the anoucement of the Thunderbolt Champion - they over trumped themselfes - not only the camo pattern was another - nope it was a TDR-5S that was used to anounce the TDR-9SE (C) - i can understand it - the rocket pods on the TDR-9SE are ugly as hell.
Well - and if you look closer - the Ultra AC Arm of this "challenge" victor looks better as the arm of the Mech ingame.

A free Victor and mechbay was stated as the gift. You got what was promised.
I do admit that I feel that image is a bit misleading. They should have posted the plain olive camo version for the promotion photo.
Still it is a nice gift.

even without the girls in the add, the car would still be disappointing, also most of these blondies, if not all are fake too, so double false advertising

sharp knees would not bang 2/10
i don't mind not getting the camo really, aside from mechlabbing it's not like you ever actually see it. wouldn't have minded different geometry though.

If you would like to see more actual examples of false advertising, I suggest paying attention to the news regarding the Black Friday sales, because every year a bunch of people try to start a media-backed protest of a store because they couldn't read what was and what wasn't advertised, like "while supplies last" and "no rainchecks" and people have to go onto the news and explain stuff that I understood as an seven-year old.

all the sales show mechs in various camos, none come with. Ditto for tourney stuff. And nowhere does it say it does.
